JACKSONVILLE +6 VS DENVER

Trevor Lawrence and Urban Meyer lost their NFL debuts last week, and oddsmakers have suddenly soured on them, moving them from a -3 point favorite on the road to now a +6 point underdog at home.  That’s some swing in line value, especially considering their opponent this week, the Denver Broncos, weren’t favored in any games last season!!  Since when did they become King Kong??  You tend to see these types of overreactions in week 2 of the season, as you only have one data point to study:  their performance from week 1.

Jacksonville played poorly last week in a road opener for rookie QB and coach, while Denver played well against a struggling NY Giants team.  But in front of an excited home crowd, I would expect Jacksonville to play much better, while Denver has to go back out on the road this week without their top WR Jerry Jeudy and starting CB Ronald Darby.

Urban Meyer goes for his first win as an NFL head coach.  What’s more urban than NYC..??
