A little over two months after Texas A & M dismantled them in the Cotton Bowl, head coach Bob Stoops and Oklahoma begin spring ball on March 9, with the first of 15 practices, culminating in the spring game April 13 at Gaylord Family – Oklahoma Memorial Stadium. Allen Kenney, editor of the OU blog Blatant Homerism breaks down the Sooners for us in our Oklahoma 2013 Spring Preview.

    I don’t see any way OU even comes close to 10-3. This team reminds me a lot of the rebuilt OU 2005 team that I believe went 8-4 that year. But that team at least had some good raw talent at most of their defensive positions. They were just young. This team is both young, and they don’t have nearly that kind of talent on defense. OU does have the talent on offense. But Stoops will have to be decisive at who he wants at QB and stick with him. The last thing I want to see is a revolving door of QB’s.
