Bowling Green 2013 Spring Preview

Bowling Green rode a salty defense in 2012 to finish the season 8–5, 6–2 in MAC play to finish in second place in the East Division. They were defeated by San Jose State 29-20 in the Military Bowl. The Falcons open spring drills this Wednesday, Match 13. BJ Fisher  of the Falcon blog Orange and Brown takes a look at the Falcons for us in our Bowling Green 2013 Spring Preview.

    This is a tough conference to win in – they simply don’t have the resources that bigtime conference’s have. They are more or less glorified 1-AA (“FCS”) teams. Clawson just got a raise to $400,000/year! That’s less than most Coordinators make in the SEC! Hell, I’m sure there are a few position coaches making more than that. Also, I imagine Clawson isn’t the lowest paid coach in the MAC.
