Flyers/Bruins:

The Philadelphia Flyers will fly into Boston today to face the highly rated Boston Bruins tonight, in what is seen to be a bit of a rivalry despite the two teams not being in the same division.

The Flyers have had a seesaw like start to the season, following up 4 of their 5 losses with very authoritative offensively driven wins. Today, they find themselves in a similar rebound situation, after getting drop kicked by the Avalanche on Monday. 

GM Ron Hextall has expressed his frustration, and expects this team to rebound strong and carry it on moving forward. 

With a tall task in Boston, this may turn out to be a spirited matchup. 

The Boston Bruins have won every game in the Eastern Time Zone apart from the season opener disaster in Washington DC, and will look to keep the hot trio of Marchand, Pastrnak, and Bergeron going. They will be facing a very motivated Philly team that is not usually driven by puck possession strategies, so expect a very in your face crash the net type of game from Philly. 

I think Philly will have a bit more spice coming into this one, coming off a loss.

Predators/Devils:

The Nashville Predators will be facing the New Jersey Devils tonight, as they look to erase a late meltdown at home against the Sharks. 

Nashville has been buzzing strong apart from that, as they start the season off 7-2, which is nothing short of their high expectations this season. I expect that they sweep their most recent loss under the rug and come back into form against the Devils today. 

New Jersey picked up where they left off last season, and begun with a 4-0 start, but I think their lack of frequency of games is going to take a toll on them in the early going. The Predators are built on speed and strength, and the Devils have hardly had a chance to get their own feet going more than a couple times a week. If Nashville plays like they are capable of, this is going to be a really rough one for Hall & Co.
