2012 College Football Win Totals – Missouri
Missouri enters their inaugural season in the SEC with their 2012 college football win totals set at over 7 (-115) and under 7 (-105), which ironically is the same amount of regular season games the Tigers won in their final season in the Big 12. I thought the SEC was supposed to be a more difficult conference?

I think the one game that could determin whether Mizzou has a 6-6 season or as high as 8-4 is their second game of the season against Georgia. I think the Tigers could build a little momentum and confidence if they can knock off Georgia. It’s probably a good time to be getting them with it being an early game in Columbia and Georgia probably being a little short-handed because of suspensions. It will probably be the biggest game of the year for Missouri. Not only because of the possibilty of beating an SEC team in their first ever conference game, but beating the team that many picked to win their division.
Like what was stated above, Franklin MUST stay healthy for the Tigers to have success. Besides being over a 60% passer, he ran for almost 1,000 yards last year. If he was to get hurt at sometime during the season, his replacement is strictly a pocket passer. So they lose much of their edge of keeping defenes guessing if he gets hurt. With the exception of their game with Bama, I think people will be surprised at how physical the Tigers are. Especially on offense. But if they want to have any division title aspirations, Pinkel will definitely have to upgrade his recruiting. Especially with defensive depth.
Love this teams offense, defense not so much.
