Western Kentucky finished the 2012 season 7–6, 4–4 in Sun Belt play to finish in fifth place. The Hilltoppers were invited to the Little Caesars Bowl, their first bowl appearance since joining FBS in 2007, where they were defeated by Central Michigan 24-21. WKU will enter its first spring under new head coach Bobby Petrino, beginning with spring practice today, March 22. Chad Bishop, the WKU beat writer for the Bowling Green Daily News provides us with some great information for our Western Kentucky 2013 spring preview.
