Alabama Football: 3 teams who can prevent a 3-peat

Can anyone beat Alabama next year and prevent the Tide from three-peating? Based on the way Alabama bullied Notre Dame in the National Championship game, knocking the Tide off their throne will not be easy.

I actually considered the Irish. Notre Dame had been pointing towards 2013 as the year they might be able to compete for a NC. They were just a year ahead of schedule last year. But they do have some holes to fill and it’ll be tough to be as “lucky” as they were last year in some of those games (Stanford & Pitt come to mind).

Georgia and Florida will also be in the hunt again this year. And big sleeper might be Louisville, if there schedule is enough to get them there.

Georgia and Florida are losing a TON of talent on defense. Definitely Louisville, if like you said, their schedule (and conference affiliation) don’t derail them.
