Hurricanes/Devils:
It is crunch time, particularly for New Jersey, and they know that they are not currently in control of the playoff situation. For a young team like the Devils, expect this to get to their heads a little.
NJ has been doing well to adjust and find ways to win, and will have to do so again tonight against a team that is also still technically in the race. The Devils should have a more defensive approach tonight, as puck possession ability is not to their advantage. Expect a possible trap-like system like the good old days, and for this game to be decided by a mistake or two from either side.

Blue Jackets/Oilers:
The Edmonton Oilers are clearly playing more loosely and more nonchalant ever since their elimination, but ideally it has been a lot better all around with no pressure. The Columbus Blue Jackets can say the same and better, as they were just in a 10 game winning streak that was broken against the Blues. Now the Jackets will come out west for the first time in awhile, and it is only natural to be a little rattled after having a long streak broken. Look for the Oilers to jump on them tonight.
