Red Wings/Rangers:

The Detroit Red Wings will look to build off last night’s win, as they fly into the Big Apple to face a team that has claimed to surrender this season. 

The New York Rangers have now lost 6 straight games, but are favorites coming into tonight’s matchup in addition to the line moving 20 points furthermore in their favor. This can be seen as an interesting movement in favor of a team that should lose the majority of their games from here on out, but at the same time Detroit is coming in off a game last night and with potentially a first time goalie. 

I am not going to try to pick a side here between two non playoff contenders, but I will say that there is quite a lack of offensive talent here in this one. Neither team has really gotten a practice nor a morning skate in since their last games either. I expect a very low scoring game, not because of the presence of defense, but more so because of the lack of skill, preparation, and motivation.
