Jimmy Singh College Football Week #15/Conference Championship Week
YTD 32-27
I hope you all had a great thanksgiving and I hope the 5-1 week helped some of the readers enjoy their holidays better. We are entering the last week of the CFB season and this year has been an interesting one. The best thing I forecasted was that I getting better as the season goes and that never fails to disappoint.
For Bowl season, I will be posting plays starting this Sunday/Monday when lines come out and as well as during the month, so be sure to check in and see if I have updated anything.
I will have write-ups in the next day or so but there are plays I am on.
U50.5 Louisville/Cincy
This game calls for bad weather, Rain all day and changing temps could make for a sloppy football game tonight. I also give an edge to both defenses. Louisville defense has been strong all year and Ville’s offense takes its time to score and at times become really stagnant. The rain should affect Cincy’s passing game an I think this game stays under the total.
Marshall -4.5 vs Rice
Marshall impressed me immensely in their win vs ECU last week. I had that as the real CUSA championship game as I dont find Rice to be that good. I talked alot about Rice last week and we had success fading them and I think this game will get out of hand when Marshall gets up and Rice will have to stop running and throw the ball and create mistakes. Marshall has been building on some late season momentum and are the much better team. Rice avoided the top 3 teams in the conference in Marshall, ECU and MTSU this year and I believe they are in the CUSA Final based on their luck of a schedule and less because of the talent on the field.
FSU 1st half and full game play – 1st half should be between 13 and 17 and buy full game down to 28(will be juiced)
The line is down for the FSU/Duke game waiting on the press conference for the Winston charges. Assuming that Winston plays, I think Florida St absolutely demolishes Duke here. This is going to be a typical ACC game where Florida St rolls early in the 1st half and coasts their way to a title. Duke has been a great story, but they do nothing great. They aren’t a great running or passing team and they do not bring a great defense. FSU trumps them at every single position on the field and I just see this one getting ugly. If Duke can match their physicality or speed or outsmart them, I could give Duke some chance at covering. I just see this one being 35-0, 35-7 and hoping FSU stays on pedal to get a big enough lead so there is no worry on a comeback.
Other Plays:
Fresno St O31.5 Team Total
Stanford/Arizona U 56
USF O20.5 Team Total
