Ball State finished the 2012 season at 9–4 and went 6–2 in MAC play to finish in a tie for second place in the West Division. They were invited to the Beef ‘O’ Brady’s Bowl where they lost to UCF 38-17. The Cardinals open spring practice today, March 26 and will end with the spring game April 20.
