Florida Football: Do the Gators lose too much on D to challenge in 2013?
SEC Football - Florida HC Will Muschamp
Yesterday I wrote an article about a few of the best “non-favorites” who could win the 2013 national championship. I also posed the question on our Twitter account @saturdayedge and on Facebook and received several additional suggestions.

They do lose a lot on defense but I would still be more concerned with their offense. Driskel didn’t show me much in his first year, they are losing their stud RB, they are losing Jordan Reed and they still don’t have a go-to receiver.
Agreed. Reed is entering the NFL draft early, Driskel looked terrible in the bowl game against Louisville and I read where Gillislee & Stanford’s Stepfan Taylor were the best RB’s at the Senior Bowl practices.
Wow they are loosing a lot of defensive men. To me the safety is so important. Are they going to be able to compete for a narional championship??? I dont know…It’s Florida, so never count them out.
