Jimmyshivers ACC Title Game Pick
As we approach the final ACC game of the season, it’s time to face facts. After another apocalyptic Saturday where the ACC goes 0-4 SU and ATS against the SEC and all 4 losses are by double digits, this league is further than ever from being considered a serious football conference where a 1-loss team should merit serious title consideration. I knew better than to back any of the ACC teams in those match-ups, but I’m disappointed regardless. I believe that even if FSU had beaten Florida and Notre Dame had lost in LA, the ‘Noles would have still be shut out of the National Title conversation due to the reputation of the league. Adding a program like Louisville is a step in the right direction for the league, but the league needs to make a ton of progress across the board before anyone nationally will give a damn.

hi jimmy i noticed you only have 3 plays on this site but you picked 10 plays on the rx
so do i take these 3 as your most favorite/or are the other 7 gonna make this site eventually?
What is the URL for the RX?
Seth,
the website tom is referring to is therx.com. It is where all of the guys who write a weekly post came from, and many of us are still active posters there. There is a lot of fluff over there but overall there are is some good content to check out. Highly recommended (after Saturday Edge of course haha)
Tom,
What is being included here at Saturday Edge is what I feel are my top plays, at the lines that are available in the middle of the week. The plays that I posted over at therx are what I’m grabbing Sunday afternoon based on my numbers as the lines are released, and often by the time I am able to post here some of those numbers are long gone. For example, I made a small play on Kansas at +21.5, but at the current +19 it probably would not make my card here. It was nice to start my week with a winner on Louisville though.
The hope is to be able to provide more information that is useful for our reader, and while I like and stand by my plays over there, the plays I’ve made at lines that aren’t currently widely available just isn’t actionable information.
