Flyers/Sharks:

The San Jose Sharks are very quickly losing the respect of oddsmakers, and their four game losing streak going into the break certainly did not help.

Because Philadelphia is fresh off the break and actually in a four game winning streak of their won, we have a underdog situation at home with the Sharks, which in previous years would have been unheard of in this situation.

This will leave experienced wondering a few things, including whether or not San Jose is just destined to see an end of an era here…or whether the line is just purely statistical or based off puck possession trends. I will say one thing though. The San Jose Sharks should be more motivated than fatigued coming off yesterday’s loss against the Los Angeles Kings.

While I do realize that the Flyers are a very relentless team once they find their rhythm, this would be the time if any for them to come out a little flat. Look for San Jose to build off yesterday’s warmup, and come out to play a more complete and defensive game today. This should be a structured attempt at a Win.
