Golden Knights/ Stars:

The Las Vegas Golden Knights will be looking to erase two things here. First off, will be to get over the 4-2 loss in St. Louis yesterday evening. Second, would be to get revenge on a late November matchup in Dallas, which also resulted in a 4-2 loss.

While the Knights have been a little less predictable and more inconsistent this season in comparison to their first two years in the league, they are starting to get their game back where they are commanding the pace with an effective forecheck game. Today, they should be able to right a few wrongs from the last meeting, and also build off yesterday’s warmth in continuous action.

The Stars on the other hand, have gotten back on track with a current three game winning streak following a 4 game skid. However, Dallas will play under the notion that they have a game tomorrow against what should still be seen to be one of the most hostile home teams of the past half decade.

Considering Vegas is on game two of a back to back and considering both of the teams’ lead ups coming into this one, It is not shocking that the Stars are beyond -160 favorites in some books. However, I am not going to put too much stock on a back to back which saw the first game lose here. I would think Dallas is looking forward to their division game against Nashville tomorrow.
