Golden Knights in Regulation -104   1*

There are a few dicey matchups tonight. A few perceived mismatches and short lines, which I will side with the favorite in most today. However, the only play I see being worthwhile value wise and logic wise is the Las Vegas Golden Knights, as they host the Colorado Avalanche after a nice little couple days off.

While the Avalanche young stars are also rested, Colorado will be completing a six game road trip with tonight’s game and then heading back home immediately to face the Ducks tomorrow. Young adults in Vegas with three full days of rest? I wonder what could possibly go wrong.

Without further speculation, I just think that Colorado’s little run to start the season has come to a temporary halt. While the Avs may continue to be a good team, this is going to be a resilient test as they are coming off their first regulation loss, and now facing another good team that has had a few days off.

The Knights should have a game plan, and have always beaten the Avalanche in regulation so far in Vegas. I expect this high octane Vegas team to be a bit much for the Avalanche to handle today, as they are probably eager to get home.
