Every pitcher has their slump, and right now, Jose Berrios is experiencing a groan zone (if you can even call it that). Still, Minnesota’s bats continue to stay in rhythm and should continue their success against lefties. While Eduardo Rodriguez has seen his team win on a high rate this season, Berrios is always going to have a good shot at a solid outing, and the Twins bats are usually more hit than miss as it does not appear that they are losing sustained rhythm at any point this season.

The Giants have now lost four straight, and it has become highly apparent that they will not be seeing the postseason this year. However, with Bumgarner on the mound being a professional and veteran, this is still a pitching mismatch…especially more so against a team that is playing under high pressure. While St. Louis has continued to be clutch, I will go with natural ability here and expect Mad Bum to give his team a chance to win at plus money.

While this is technically a long shot, this is a worthwhile shot. Hyun Jin Ryu has proven to be in horrific rhythm coming off his injury, so why not keep taking advantage of a favorable line for something that is really much closer than the odds suggest?
