Clippers +9

Longer story short, the Clippers are the hottest team in the NBA!  They have won 11 of their last 12 games and they are getting 9 points, which in itself is good enough for a play from me.  They are also playing very well on the road this season 23-16 ATS, and have a respectable 16-12 ATS record vs Eastern Conference opponents.

Milwaukee is also one of the best teams in the league, there is no denying that.  But Milwaukee has a comfortable 4 game cushion on the top seed in the East with only 7 games left to play.  That being said they have basically clinched home court throughout.  It could be that point of the season where they start monitoring the minutes from some of their core players.  Also, they certainly aren’t going to sellout to win this game as they still have the 1 seed pretty safely locked up.

Clippers have the motivational edge as they are very bunched up in the western conference and could finish anywhere from 4^th to 8^th in the seeding.  I think they will play harder trying to sneak into that 4 spot to get home court in the first round.  Plus I think they will be excited to see where they stand against the best team in the East.  I don’t really expect the Clippers to win this game outright, but definitely be competitive and 9 points is just way too many to pass up!
