515 Memphis +16.5 vs Cincinnati

Posted this yesterday on the Saturday Edge Twitter account with the number at 16.5 everywhere. Now, I’m seeing 16 in some places which still is a bit favorable. Now as for the breakdown, Memphis could certainly lose by 20+ here, but this is a HUGE number for a semifinal. Both teams also play pretty slow which means overall less possessions. Total currently sits at 126.5 and which basically means if we get 55 from Memphis, we have great shot at covering. Memphis has been playing inspired basketball lately, winning 7/8 and coming off a momentum game winner against Tulsa I like them to ride momentum here. Cincinnati will not want to expend to much energy to put this team away late knowing, a HUGE game is still to come tomorrow. I like Memphis to keep this under 17.

531 West Virginia -1.5 vs Kansas

I mention often about tough to beat time twices and sometimes teams play 3 or even rarely 4 times in one season. Here WVU gets KAN for the third time after suffering two losses already this year. Kansas just yesterday let a inferior Kansas State team hang around until late despite plenty of opportunities to put them out. Defensively, I question Kansas’s ability to control WVU with how poor they looked yesterday. As for WVU, they had a tough path here beating Baylor and Tech, and I like them to ride this confidence into their biggest game of the year. WVU should be able to use it’s advantageous on the offensive glass, and forcing turnovers for extra shots at the rim and grab the Big 12 title.

547 Eastern Washington +4.5 vs Montana

This line has moved into a favorable number. Money has moved this line to 5 and I’m now getting 5 points with a team that’s won 8 straight vs a team coming off a stressful overtime game that Montana barely squeezed out. EWU is playing best ball of the year and this number is just too big here. EWU has a slight experience edge and plenty of confidence coming into this one. I expect EWU to try to slow this game down and use its advantageous to hang around throughout and cover the number.
