Elon vs James Madison UNDER 142.5

Elon hosts James Madison in a revenge gaming laying 3. Normally, I’d like a team like Elon in this spot, but 3 is too big a number here and I see no value with it. Where I do see plenty of value though, is the under at 142.5. I have this number at least 5-6 points high based on pace and recent performances from these two teams. Don’t let the last game total number fool you. For one thing, it went to overtime where 27 additional points were scored. Also, it’s worth noting that were 14 points scored in the last 1 minute of the 2nd half which is a wildly high number. Teams will foul late and trade baskets, but 14 points is still well above the average for a close game within the final minute. The pace and playing style of these two teams leans towards towards a game in the low 130s, so plenty of points in our favor. A total like this indicates the first team to score 70 will win. If we’re not counting overtime, both teams haven’t scored more than 70 points since February 3rd. These teams have clearly been struggling to score over the last month, and meeting each other here, gives us a nice advantage with this high number.
