Last night had a clean sweep going 3-0 with my selections with Fairfield, Iowa, and Ole Miss. I also wrote up OU yesterday on my Twitter page (@uncl3dunkl3), and give out free selections often. Today I like one game out of the Missouri Valley Conference.

Indiana State +2.5 vs. Southern Illinois

Typically in these types of games, I favor the home team laying a small number, but after researching this game, many factors favored Indiana State. Indiana State has the best player on the floor in Jordan Barnes  which is very important when two similarly matched teams play and Indiana State has played stiffer competition to date. They have also held serve in each and every conference game to date. Even in their losses, they were close enough late to grab a win, but just fell short against quality teams. The only bad loss was at Illinois State, a game in which went to overtime and ultimately Indiana State should have won. On the other side, Southern Illinois has four wins in conference against the bottom feeders. Two wins over Iowa State, Illinois State and Evansville. Three of these games were also at home for Southern Illinois. While this game is in their own gym, this will be the best team they have seen at home all year. It’s worth noting that their home gym looks like a middle school gym, so don’t be too scared of a true home court advantage. This court won’t exactly be bumping with people either in the limited seats. You can’t pay people to come to games like these. Give me the better road team getting points, who has played tougher competition to date, and has the best player on the floor.
