Rangers/Kings:

The New York Rangers will visit Southern California, as they begin with the Los Angeles Kings this evening. 

It doesn’t take a detective to realized that both teams have had some offensive struggles as of late. The Rangers have only scored three or more goals three times in their last ten games. The Kings have just three goals combined in the last three games, and are currently amidst a six game losing streak. 

Most consensus’ are naturally on the UNDER today.

Despite having more recent adjustments to make, the Rangers should be warm coming into this one, and the altitude difference between mile high Denver last night and near sea level today may help to give the New York the fresher legs coming into this one. I see the Rangers coming into this one with full energy for the first half of the game, until the fatigue may start to take its toll towards the late second period. Considering that this is a back to back for the blueshirts, I don’t see much of a game plan coming into tonight. The fast moving Rangers will be at their natural state. 

The Kings have been downright awful lately, and it is clear that the frustration is coming out. I expect LA to come out swinging today, and I would only imagine that the focus on today’s morning skate was offensive schemes. Today, I think the Kings will budge and start playing more loosely. 

I see this being a somewhat disorganized game being dictated by passion.
