Spring practices are popping up all over the country. And more importantly, ASU opens spring practice on Monday, March 16th.

From GoSooners: The problem is I don’t think the NCAA will allow a CCG with just 10 teams. It is the reason why the Pac-10 and Big 10 expanded to 12 teams. I doubt if they will ever make an exception for the Big 12.This conference is screwed unless they get to 12 teams.

Top 5 Declining College Football Programs Heading Into 2015

From GoSooners: I’m not sure about Bama being in decline. Last time I looked they were still a top 5 recruiting program who made the Final Four. The rest I can buy to a certain extent. Although you never can count KSU entirely out as long as Snyder is there. But Baylor and TCU appear to have taken their place for now. OU is kind of dead in the water. This could be a big year for Stoops after a disastrous 2014 season. 

I agree with GS about Alabama. They still have the best “recruited” roster in the country. The team that sticks out to me is Virginia Tech. It looks to me that they have been in decline for several years now.
