Texas is coming off 3 straight wins against weaker opponents in Texas Tech, TCU and Kansas St but have struggled against stronger competition lately. While the Sooners had dominated the division before a slip up loss to K-State. This is a decent Oklahoma team but I believe them to be overvalued here covering 4 of their last 5 games. The line for this game opened at Sooners -6 and has been bet up to 6.5 and even 7 in some books with more then 72% of bets coming in on the home team. That is in addition to this game being a in the top 4 most bet NCAAB games of the day as of 6pm est. It’s also a very popular teaser/parlay selection with bettors. For a rivalry game coming in at -6 and getting bet up to 6.5 and 7 we are getting a Texas team in a rivalry game with something to prove by beating a ranked opponent. Also going against an overvalued Sooners team getting public love and getting an extra .5 -1 point to the already high opening line.
