Record YTD: 3-2

With so much leadership and skill returning, Air Force could be one of the biggest disappointments of the college basketball season. Although injuries have not helped, expectations were much higher for this talented team.  Their one conference win so far was against a horrible San Jose State team, who have put together a total of 2 wins this season. 

Speaking of San Jose State, they suffered their worst defeat of the season in their previous game, losing by 50 points to Boise State, shooting only 25% from the field and committing 19 turnovers.  Things really can’t get more disastrous.

Of course I’m trying to make a point of how bad San Jose State is and although Air Force has nothing to brag about, it’s really comparing apples and oranges when looking at the caliber of player each team has.  With the Falcons already beating them by 22 points early this month, it seems another loss is probable. 

Fortunately for us we only care about the spread.  This line is inflated and too much attention is being put on how bad the Spartans really are, but if you have been following my handicapping you know I go against the norm 99% of the time.  This will be no different. 

In my view, I’m getting an angry team that was humiliated in their previous game and now trying to seek revenge.  I’ll give the Spartans a little love here.
