A winning week last week slightly. Hit the big play again with Texas covering and the 3 losses last week lost by 0.5, 6 and 3.  This season has been big play wins and lots of close close losses. But thats the way the sportsworld works.

I have little time and want to get in the 2 Thursday plays so my writeups will be short but here they are.

 

Virginia Tech – 1 at Pittsburgh risking $220 to win $200  (bet up to 2.5)

fading Pitt again here. It seems like Pitt has been living off that BC win for far too long and they are what I thought they were. a 2 person offense(Conner and Boyd) with an average defense. If you get a good defense, they should be able to shut down this Pitt offense. We have that here with Virginia Tech. You give Bud Foster 2 weeks to prep and he will find ways to shutdown Conner and Boyd and make it hard for Pitt to move the ball. On the other side, VaTech should be able to overcome the RB injuries and put enough points here to win the game.

 

Utah -2.5 at Oregon St risking $220 to win $200 (bet at 2.5 or lower)

I dont believe in Oregon St yet. They have beaten 4 nobodies and gotten utterly destroyed at USC.  The one thing I have noticed is the problems on O-line for Oregon St. This team has issues blocking and it was really apparent vs USC. I rate Utah’s front 7 at least equal if not better than USC’s and I think they will be able to give Mannion all sorts of problems. Oregon St doesn’t have the receivers this year as they did in the past with Rodgers and Cooks to get open here early. Utah has also shown that it can win on the road with win at UCLA and at Michigan and I see them adding to their resume. Utah was 1 pt  away from being ranked in the top 10 and i think we get some value here with the Utes.

Baylor – 7 at West Virginia risking $399 to win $300 (only bet 7 or lower, it is juiced at -133 right now)

Army -3 at Kent St risking $266 to win $200 (only bet 3 or lower, it is juiced at -133 right now)

Michigan St -15.5 at Indiana risking $165 to win $150 (bet up to 16.5)

Eastern Michigan +14.5 at UMass risking $165 to win $150 (bet to 14)
