2014 SEC Team Preview – Missouri
Coming into 2014, I want to thank the Tigers for the large amount of money they made us in their 2013 campaign. Last year, the Tigers were to some, a surprise champion in the SEC East. Coming into 2014, the Tigers are once again going to have to earn their respect from rest of the SEC.
Things this season may be a little bit tougher.

very well written article, agree 100% with everything you wrote.
Really good write up Saber; always appreciate your informed and well supported perspective. In this instance, I tend to disagree with you & fall into the crowd of those who think Mizzou takes a definitive step back.
For me, it’s the defensive losses that tip the balance – especially along the DL but the front 7 generally. I think those replacing aren’t nearly as good and Missouri will struggle to keep opposing offenses off the field and out of the end zone. Mauk will play well but he’s an injury waiting to happen and if he does get hurt, forget about it. Mizzou also loses a large amount of offensive production especially with DGB’s departure. Plus Missouri will sneak up on no one this year. Central Florida, So. Carolina, UGA, Florida, A&M, Tenn. and Arkansas are all ‘lose-able’ – a no play for me.
