No one should bet against South Carolina this week, after destroying Arkansas at home and making any bettor who took the Razorbacks look stupid, including myself. Surely we’ll be betting our hard earned money on the Gamecocks this Saturday, when they play Tennessee, another sub-par SEC team with a .500 record.  Their only wins are over Peay, Western Kentucky and South Alabama, so there’s no way they stand a chance to even keep this game competitive, through the 2nd quarter.

But…Tennessee almost beat Top 10 Georgia two weeks ago.  “Stop it!  They were lucky to keep that close.  You saw how bad the Bulldogs played last week, vs. Missouri, AT HOME. They got beat by more than 2 touchdowns…the Tiger’s star QB even got hurt and they still couldn’t pull it off”.

But…Tennessee is coming off a bye…”Overrated!”

But…South Carolina is playing back to back road games…”So what!  Staying at hotels can be fun.”

But…Tennessee almost beat South Carolina last year…”almost is only good in horseshoes and hand grenades.”

But…Tennessee fans can get really impatient.  Coach Jones, needs a marquee win…”They have Bama on the road next week; they’ll get the victory there”.

Just like last week vs. Arkansas, 95% of the public are on the Gamecocks.  With the dominance South Carolina displayed last Saturday, you’d be foolish to bet anything different.

A mentor of mine once told me, “The masses are asses”, it’s held true for centuries.  I’m taking the Vols!!
