For your consideration: Alabama -7.5

It was bad enough last year when Nick Saban and company got beat at home in front of 100,000 faithful, but then comes Mr. Ego and his off the field circus act this off-season, adding more fuel to the fire. The Crimson Tide players have been eagerly waiting for this day.  More importantly, waiting to get their shot at the Aggie QB (I refuse to say his name) when he steps outside the pocket. It wouldn’t surprise me if a personal foul (or two) are committed by Alabama tomorrow night.

Not that we need to search for reasons why Bama comes out victorious in College Station Saturday night, but just in case you are wondering, here are a few:

  1. Nick Saban does not lose revenge games.  He’s 7-1 with Alabama in pay back games.
  2. This is not the same Texas A&M team.  Other than town clown as returning QB, they are missing a ton of talent from last year.
  3. Crimson Tide getting two weeks to prepare. When Saban is coming off a bye week, and his opponents are not, he’s 7-0 (at Alabama).

These are the type of games Saban takes personal and he has dedicated an entire off season in preparation for it.

In July a picture surfaced of Texas A&M towels hung on each station of the Alabama weight room with reports that the room is constantly showing videos of last year’s game in the room.

So in my opinion, I’m not sure the line could ever get high enough to ever make a difference.  This is one of the few times I’m okay, betting with the public.

Consider: Alabama Crimson Tide -7.5

Good Luck!
