Spring Summary
The top priority was the identification of eight new defensive starters. Tulsa had a program-record total of 53 sacks last season. Seniors had 36 of those sacks. It was probably the most physical spring-practice session I’ve ever covered. By the end of the spring period, 19 Hurricane players were sidelined with injuries.

MAXIMIZE YOUR EDGE
A repeat championship is a given, maybe more so on the dilution of C-USA which has now become the Sun Belt North conference. The ACC is just a year away.
You aren’t kidding about C-USA looking pretty watered down this year. Maybe ECU or Marshall can jump up and challenge Tulsa, tough to see anyone else even getting close.
